Si-Anne - Singer-Songwriter & Bass Guitarist
Si-Anne is vibrant, energetic & ambitious with a zest for life and a hungry passion for music. She studied contemporary popular music at The National School of the Arts and graduated cum laude as ‘Student of the year’ (2002), also receiving best Bass Guitarist Award and the Rotary “Service before Self” Award. Her majors were Vocals (Kylie Adcock) and Bass Guitar (Jason Green). She also plays guitar and keyboard and is a talented and passionate song writer. Si-Anne began her career at the age of 17, and was the youngest person to ever work as a professional musician for the Barnyard theatre – touring for 5 years nationally.

Recent Activity:
Si-Anne appeared on idols season 6 (2010), and got into the top 30 in SA from 13,000 hopefuls who had auditioned this year.
Played bass guitar and backing vocals in band for top selling Afrikaans artist ‘Dozi’ with Deidre (Idols/NKD) at Festivals ie: Houtstock (2010 Jan to June).
Recording vocal sessions on Jewish tracks in Hebrew.
Featured on a track on the new Koldproduk album being released in 2010.
Played bass guitar on Jesse Clegg’s debut album “When I Wake Up” (2009) & performed with his band opening for Arno Carstens (2009). Work commitments prevented her from joining the group on a permanent basis.
Writing commercial songs and recording demo’s for radio & record deal.
Si-Anne has a repertoire of 300 cover songs in genres from Jazz, Pop, Rock, Ballads, South African, RnB, DJ and background music.
